Day trip by car and hiking to the mountain shelters ‘Pirin’ and ‘Gorski Rai’ with the opportunity to visit the Mitrevo, Argirovo and Popovo lakes from Pirin village.
The day begins with a 17km car trip into the mountains. Leaving the car, you walk for one and half hours to the mountain shelters ‘Pirin’ and ‘Gorski Rai’ for a picnic lunch or alternatively you can extend your hiking for another four hours to the lakes before returning to the car and travelling back to Pirin village.
